The 13th ASEM Finance Ministers’ Meeting will take place on 26 April 2018, in Sofia.
Donald TUSK, President of the European Council, travels to Tirana, Podgorica, Belgrade, Sarajevo and Skopje from Tuesday 24 to Friday 27 April 2018. EU Ministers of Foreign and European Affairs meet on 17 April 2018 in Luxembourg to discuss amendments to the 1976 Electoral Act and the state of play regarding the rule of law in Poland. The Commission is presenting its enlargement package to the ministers.
EU Foreign Affairs ministers meet on 16 April 2018 in Luxembourg to discuss Russia, the Western Balkans, Iran (including the Iran nuclear deal, the JCPOA) and the future of external financing instruments. EU Ministers of Agriculture and Fisheries meet on 16 and 17 April 2018 in Luxembourg to discuss ways to reduce food waste in the EU and a new plan for the management of fish stocks in the Western Waters. They are also hearing a presentation on a draft directive to fight unfair trading practices in the food supply chain.
