President Tusk opened the meeting between EU and ASEAN representatives underlining the will to strengthen the EU-ASEAN relationship.

At the opening ceremony of the 9th EU-Republic of Korea summit, President Tusk underlined the main pillars of the strategic partnership between EU- Republic of Korea.

The Council authorised the Commission to launch negotiations on an agreement with the United States regarding imports of high quality beef.
